Hello Alice in Chains fans here we found some rare Layne Staley childhood photos for you

Layne Staley, born as Layne Thomas Staley on August 22, 1967, in Kirkland, Washington, was an American musician best known as the original lead singer of the rock bands Alice in Chains and Mad Season.
Staley was raised in Bellevue, a suburb of Seattle, primarily by his mother, Nancy Staley, after his parents divorced when he was only seven. He was the youngest of three children and had two sisters, Liz and Jamie. Layne’s interest in music was kindled at a young age, as his parents were amateur musicians. His mother was a singer, and his father was a drummer.

Tragically, his father battled addiction, and this ultimately led to his parents’ divorce and his father’s absence during much of Staley’s early life. These experiences deeply affected Staley and heavily influenced his songwriting in later years.

Music became a refuge for Staley from a young age. He began playing the drums when he was 12 years old and played in various glam bands throughout his teen years, including Sleze, which later changed its name to Alice N’ Chains. This band was the precursor to Alice in Chains, the group with which Staley would find significant success.
