JULY 11, 1976 – Andy Gibb married Kim Reeder in Australia. On January 25, 1978, the Gibbs had a daughter Peta Jaye, but the couple had already separated before Reeder discovered she was pregnant. They divorced later that year and Kim and Peta moved back to Australia. Kim said that even though they didn’t see Andy except for once when Peta was 2, he would call and talk to them for hours in the years before his death.With the announcement of Gibb’s death on March 10, 1988, Reeder was not surprised, “I always knew that one day I’d get a call with news like this,” she said. “It was only a matter of time.”
