1- Neil’ Young’ s middle name is Percival.

2- Despite the fact that he’s lived in the U.S. for quite a long time, Neil has never renounced his Canadian citizenship.

3- Despite the fact that Neil is Canadian, his mom, Edna Blow Ragland “Rassy” Young, was an member from the Daughters of the American Revolution, which means she could follow her genealogy to people specifically required in United States’ independence.

4- Neil Young’s father is sportswriter ,journalist ,  writer Scott Young is thought to be a national symbol in Canada. 

He composed more than 30 books in his profession, among others the 1952 schoolboy top choice, Scrubs on Skates. 

The book was devoted to his children:“To Neil and Bob, whose greatest games are still ahead of them”

5- Neil Young’s  first instrument was a shabby plastic ukulele he got as a stocking stuffer for Christmas in 1958.

12- At a club in Fort William, Ontario in 1965, The Squires encountered an American people shake band called The Company, which highlighted an artist/guitarist named Stephen Stills.

 

 

13- In spite of the fact that it wasn’t  released until 1977, Neil composed the “Sugar Mountain” on his nineteenth birthday, after simply leaving his band the Squires. 

14 – The Song ““Sugar Mountain” ” inspired Joni Mitchell then he went ahead to compose “The Circle Game” 

15 – In the mid-1960s Neil played in a R&B band called the Mynah Birds, which at one point at the same time highlighted future funk star Rick James and Buffalo Springfield bassist Bruce Palmer, and in addition future Steppenwolf members Goldy McJohn and Nick St. Nicholas.

 

16- For a brief period in 1966, Neil Young even Shared  a Toronto flat With  Rick James. Recalling the involvement in a meeting with Howard Stern, Neil stated,  “We did some wild things. It’s all very hazy to me now. I’m glad I made it through that stage. It got a little dicey. There were some drugs going on. I remember singing one song for about a day and a half.”

 
17-  While Neil Young and Palmer were stuck in traffic on L.A’s. Sunset Boulevard, the hearse was spotted by Stephen Stills and artist/guitarist Richie Furay, who were driving the other way. Subsequent to making an illicit u-swing to wave the hearse down, this meeting prompted to the introduction of Buffalo Springfield, a standout amongst the best  folk-rock band of the 1960s

18 – Neil Young  never uncovered who the Real  “Cinnamon Girl” is.
