Amazon Prime’s new series, The Boys, has made a mess with its eight-episode first season. What, according to most critics, Netflix hasn’t been able to do for nearly a year, Hulu never will, what HBO wouldn’t mind, with a single series, Amazon Prime has performed. Aside from the extravagant side, we’re dealing with a terrific job. We have a taste of criticism, comedy in place, characters sitting, and watching work. If you haven’t watched the series yet, here are ten things you should know at the beginning.
1- Briefly, what is the topic?
Who told you the world of superheroes is full of pure goodness? Especially if these super-powered friends of ours have become toys in the hands of corporations that are slaves to money… but someone intends to stop it, and even though they seem powerless, they are too powerful! Beating the Seven doesn’t seem easy.
3- Who is in the cast?
Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Chace Crawford, Erin Moriarty, and Dominique McElligott… we especially missed seeing Karl Urban, it was beautiful!
4- Is the Translucent character in the comic book?
The Translucent character was created exclusively for television. The original comic strip features a character named Jack from Jupiter in the team of the Seven.
5- Which character in the series is the counterpart of which character?
The Homelander: inspired by Superman and Captain America.
Queen Maeve: inspired by Wonder Woman.
Black Noir: Batman, Black Bolt, and G.I. Inspired by Joe’s Snake-Eyes.
The Deep: inspired by Aquaman and the Submariner.
A-Train: Inspired by The Flash and Quicksilver.
Starlight: Inspired by Dr. Light and The X-Men’s Jubilee.
Translucent: Inspired by The Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman.
6- What does one like to do?
If you’ve enjoyed Preacher, Pennyworth, Doom Patrol, and the Titans, you should check it out. And if you’re tired of “superhero” movies that have been especially busy in the cinema for a long time, it can help you out.
7- Will there be the second season?
The series also received second season approval immediately after its first season. For now, all we know is that we can watch the second season, which is said to be eight episodes again in 2020…
8- There’s a connection with Supernatural!
Eric Kripke, creator and executive producer of Supernatural for five seasons, is producing the boys. Let’s just say Jeremy Carver was on the writing and production team of the boys after Doom Patrol.
9- Can any age group watch the series?
Well, the show’s not really for kids. Don’t think that there’s a superhero in there, and things are going “lightly.” Suitable for over 16.
10- Who is the “The Boys” cast actually made up of?
Billy Butcher, Mallory, mother’s Milk, Female of the Species, and Frenchie make up the original team. However, Mallory will not return to the team. What happens before his eyes (I can’t write down details in terms of not having spoilers) and his connection to the CIA will hamper him.
